Established in Colorado, REP Fitness was founded in 2012 by two gym-enthusiast brothers. REP's journey began in a humble 1,200-square-foot retail storefront with a two-car garage in Longmont, Colorado. Brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty filled the space with a few pieces of equipment and stacked bumper plates to the ceiling in the closet. Their goal was to create a customer experience that would excite and engage, bringing back the art of personalized service. They also sought to offer high-quality gear that they themselves would purchase, use, and love.

Driven by their respect for those who provide freedom and security, REP has made a commitment to give back. In 2023, the brand pledged $100,000 to three esteemed charities that support military and first responder families: The First Responders Children's Foundation, Folds of Honor, and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
